Internet

Recently, Google made a (unannounced) change in their system for Gmail users. I am a huge Gmail user and love it and I know that many others are as well.

Effective immediately, if you send a website link to a Gmail user, IF that link starts with a capital letter, it will NOT be a clickable link. For example:

Incorrect Link:

Screencastlibrary.com (This would NOT be a clickable link)

Correct Link:

screencastlibrary.com (This WOULD be a clickable link)

Bottom Line – Make SURE that any website link you put in an email starts with a lower case letter, not a capital.

I have been using a FREE Firefox add-on quite a bit recently and it has been saving me lots of time. Now, when I want to create a tiny URL for Twitter, Facebook, or another social media site, I don’t have to go to another website, I can just click a button from the page I am on and it will automatically create a small URL for me!
